Blackjack Betting System – Winning Blackjack Strategy

August 13th, 2010

If you want a blackjack betting system, then read this. You will learn a winning blackjack strategy.

After two starting cards are distributed to each player, a player may stand, hit, double, split, or surrender. So for a stand, the player waves his hand like waving the dealer away meaning he is satisfied with his cards. For a single deck game, a player puts his card with face down under his bet.

Hit means that the player wants to take another card. He may do this until he busts or he stands. He does a hit by tapping the table with his fingers. However, for a single deck game, a player scrapes his cards lightly to the felt.

On the other hand, the term double applies only to the first two cards. This is done just once and a player doubles his bet by putting another wager (which should be equal to the original wager) next to his original wager. The player puts his card facing up by his bet if it is a single deck game.

To do splitting, same process with double is done. The only difference is that, splitting is done if the first two cards given to the player are equal in value. Two to three times splitting is allowed should another pairing occur. For single deck game, it is the same with the processes of doubling.

Lastly, surrender as the term implies means that a player may forfeit his cards and half the bet. Now, if the dealer has an up card of ace or ten and he peeks at his down card (also called hole card) for a blackjack prior to the first player’s turn, this is called late surrender. But if the dealer does not assess for blackjack nor has no hole card, it is called early surrender. Early surrender is favorable to the player because it gives protection from the blackjack of the dealer.

From these, a player will learn more techniques on how to win blackjack. He may opt to learn and practice with the basic blackjack strategy. Blackjack basic strategy is about tips on how to deal with hard hand, soft hand, or pair games. Or, he may want to use the card counting technique. Counting technique is about assigning point value to each card in the deck, whether -1 or +1 or 0. Another technique is to play by luck or money management. With this, the player sets a time or an amount or number of loses which when reached tells him to stop and quit the game.

Just like other games, a blackjack player needs to practice before playing the game. There are simulators nowadays which players can use for their practice. With good practices, good opportunities of winning come in. In summary, a player needs to learn and understand the game, learn techniques by heart, practice, read more, and practice more to be able to expand winning chances.

The Best Blackjack Betting System

July 6th, 2010

Winning money at blackjack isn’t all about basic strategy and counting cards. Consistently winning big money depends a lot on the betting system you use. Anyone who has played blackjack at a real casino knows that one moment you can be on top of the world in chips but the next you can be digging in your wallet for more funds.

The chip stacks in a normal game of blackjack typically fluctuate erratically and therefor finding the best betting system when gambling is crucial. This article discusses three popular gambling betting systems used throughout history (and current) and which ones are the best to use when playing blackjack. The three betting systems are the Labouchere, Paroli and Parlay systems.

1.) Labouchere Betting System

Description: The Labouchere system is a negative progression betting system. It is also referred to as “Cancellation”, “Crossout”, “Labby” and “Split Martingale”. Using the Labouchere betting system, you will always make a profit after finishing the entire betting cycle. To complete the system you must win all bets.

How It Works: You must first write down a series of numbers, such as “1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8″, however the series could be any numbers and any length. It could be “1 1 1 4 3 7″ or 3 1 5 6 1 1 8 4 2 1″. The length and values of the numbers depend on the game you are playing and the rules.

Each number in the series represents a value in units or chips. You start by adding up the first and last number in the series. The sum is the unit of chips you will bet. If you win, you cross out the first and last number, and add the next first and last number in the series (the ones not crossed out) and use this sum for your second bet. If you lose at any time before completing the system, you start from the beginning. If you win all bets and complete the system, then you start again from the beginning (the original sum from the first and last number).

You must carefully develop this system before playing and strictly adhere to following it once playing to win money. Be sure to account for your bankroll.

2.) Paroli Betting System

Description: The Paroli system is a positive progression betting system. This system does not require a large bankroll and is considered more stable than other betting systems when playing blackjack.

How It Works: You start your bet with one unit. If you win the first bet, then your second bet is the first bet plus your winnings. If you win the second bet, then your third bet is the second bet plus the winnings from that. At any time that you lose, you start the next bet at one unit.

For example, if you start with $100.00 and win $100.00, then your second bet would be $200.00. If you win the second bet, then your third bet would be $400.00… etc. You include all winnings in your next bet, including extra winnings from doubling down, splitting or blackjack.

An important part of this system is having a stop point, which you must determine before you start gambling. The stopping point may be a unit or dollar amount. After you lose a bet or reach your stopping point, you must bet one unit on the next bet.

3.) Parlay Betting System

Description: The Parlay system is another positive progression betting system and can successfully be used in the game of blackjack. It’s derived from the system that banks use to compound interest and is also referred to as the “Let It Ride” betting system.

This betting system involves less risk than similar systems and does not require a large bankroll to use.

How It Works: This system is similar to the Paroli betting system. The only difference with this system is that you literally “let it ride” with your bets. With each successive bet, you place your winnings on top of the original bet. There is no stopping point. Since you are betting in a pyramid fashion, you can turn a small bet into exponentially large winnings. Unfortunately with this system, when you lose you lose everything.

The Labouchere, Paroli and Parlay systems are the best betting systems for playing blackjack. There are other betting systems out there but they are better used with different gambling games such as craps and roulette. Which system you choose will depend on your own personal style and bankroll. These betting systems are great for all blackjack games including those at real and online casinos.

Do Want A System For Beating Roulette?

June 22nd, 2010

As a winning gambler I am often asked many questions and a lot of them centre around the game of Roulette. Is there a system for beating roulette. Mathematically there is not. No one can possibly devise a system for beating roulette. The house odds cannot be turned in your favour as they can at Blackjack.

However searching online there are more websites claiming they have a system for beating roulette than there are for most other gambling activities.

Roulette is an intriguing game to play. It is easy and unlike Blackjack where the best possible payout is 3/2 on each individual hand, in roulette the odds can be 35/1 on a single number.

Do I, as a professional gambler of some standing, have a system for beating roulette? The answer is no. I do have a system I use to win at roulette (which you can obtain in my FREE REPORT from my author bio below), but I would never make a claim that it is guaranteed to beat the wheel as no one can ever make such a claim.

When you are looking to obtain or buy a system for beating roulette, do remember the game itself cannot be beaten. As a gambler you are better looking at money management, staking patterns and your own self discipline rather than just an ebook that claims to be a system for beating roulette. Such a system in the wrong hands can be disastrous.

I have recently launched several websites covering all the scams that are available for roulette, craps blackjack and numerous other betting activities. It sickens me when people lose their money because they follow advice of others that make false promises. These people with there “systems” are just after a fast buck in most cases.

There are some great authorities on gambling (I consider myself a reasonable one) but the problem most people have is finding them. Gambling is often based on impulse and a lust for a quick big win. If you look at it more as a job and set yourself goals and tasks, with a bit of work it can become a great way of life.

Rather than looking to get a system for beating roulette sign up for my FREE REPORT on roulette and roulette scams and it may be the start of turning your gambling around. Quite often the smallest actions open the biggest doors.

Good luck.

James Gregor is a professional gambler and author for numerous gambling magazines and gambling websites. He has amassed personal gambling winnings in excess of $2,000,000. Whereas laying a horse at a very low price & then backing it at a huge price is termed as arbitrage. To win you need to know how to select a betting system. Here are a few tips on how to choose a right system.

Most of the racing enthusiasts think that they have efficiently developed a betting system that can ensure wins which is actually not correct. Winning a race depends upon your hard work and your efficiency in how to handicap the race. Before going for any system, understand the skills required to handicap a horse race. You have to learn how to interpret race results & performance arc of the horse over a good period of time.

Select a system that keeps record of horse’s last earlier races. If a horse hasn’t performed well during its earlier races, it won’t run stronger in the coming race.

While selecting an effective system consider the sudden changes in odds. An immediate lowering in odds at last minute shows that experts are interpreting outstanding performance from that horse. On the other hand, an immediate increase in odds would mean a sudden downturn in energy & spirit.

Make it a point that who is the jockey. Generally, a jockey with good excellent reputation won’t fall for a poor performing horse. He often gets the horse he wants. A well reputed jockey would mean greater chances of winning.

Opt for Dutch betting system that allows you to cover more than one horse in a particular race. The basic idea behind this system is that, if you choose more horses to bet on, there are higher chances of winning. This system is very popular since past many years.

Martingale System For Sports Betting

May 5th, 2010

The martingale’s method of sports betting is the most popular systems available today. The popularity of the system lies on the simplicity of the system and one can understand the system very easily. Few people use it for gambling on games like blackjack and roulette. Lot of casual betters try using the martingale system for sports betting to yield better results.

The concept is very simple; one has to keep doubling the stake every time he/ she loses. And finally if the individual wins one will be compensated for all the other previous looses. By using this system one will also have considerable amount of profit. It is essentially the wagering progression method. If one bet is lost double the stake amount in the forthcoming bets. This will help the individual recoup the past loses and acquire profit as well if he/ she win a bet.

There are few differences in the system when it comes to sports betting and casino gambling. This is due to the games such as blackjack requires even money bets. The sports wagering covers a wide range of bets and odds.If one wants to use the system they will have to pay the vigorish and if the individual is already an good handicapper then the chances of winning is almost fifty percent. A good example of the martingale sports betting system is the when an individual bet on the game with 12 dollars to win 10 dollar and they lose the bet. Add 12 dollar and 10 dollar and get 22 dollar. Then divide the 22 dollars by.8333 and the result would be 26.40 dollars. Bet 26.40 as the amount for bet two and if the second bet is won by the individual then 26.40 dollars can be got back along with the profit. Then all that has to be done is to calculate how much the next bet would be. And so it is said that this system is little different from the traditional sports betting methods.
